So much energy is concentrating in Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries currently — and this month that quarter of the zodiac is hosting some of 2026’s most provocative astrological events. I’m not even talking about the Full Moon in Leo that kicks off the first day of February!**

Some major re-patterning is likely in store, as the Aquarius New Moon and annular solar eclipse on Feb. 17 opens a two-week phase of release and reorientation. The corresponding eclipse of the pair, a total lunar eclipse with the Virgo Full Moon opposite the Sun in Pisces, closes the eclipse window on March 3.
Although I have not touched on the second eclipse in the horoscopes below, I will be looking at how it continues the story from the first eclipse as it approaches. With the Feb. 17 eclipse occurring in a sign about individuation and the March 3 eclipse arriving with the Sun in a sign that’s about merging, I am especially curious to see what shifts in the collective socio-political landscape here in the U.S. during those two weeks.
Just before the month ends, Mercury stations retrograde on Feb. 26 in Pisces, prompting some spiritual and emotional recon and recovery. I’ll definitely have more to say about the retrograde chart at that time.
Between the Aquarius New Moon and solar eclipse and Mercury stationing, we’ll experience an event astrologers have been watching for more than a year. On Feb. 20, Saturn and Neptune complete the long conjunction they’ve been in, sliding back and forth between Pisces and Aries.
Saturn and Neptune meet exactly in the “personal-is-political” first degree of Aries, ending a 36-year cycle since their last conjunction (in Capricorn) and opening a new cycle. It’s a tricky event to read.
Saturn builds, enforces, endures, and insists we face facts and shoulder responsibility. Neptune dissolves, obscures, unifies through compassion, and invites us to escape into dreams and illusions. Aries initiates the life force into activity; in any birth chart it is where we stake our claim to “I am.”
By one reckoning, out of many possibilities, I think Saturn and Neptune will be asking us to define ourselves through inspired action based in reality — rather than an illusion of the ego’s limits.
This is not easy in today’s environment. But heaven knows we need it now more than ever.
With love,
Amanda
**In case you were wondering, the Feb. 1 Leo Full Moon (opposite the Sun and five other major objects in Aquarius) seems to describe how facing a crowd magnifies the energy of any confrontation. Even just visibly standing out from “everyone else” can suddenly feel vulnerable, even when we really want to be seen. To keep from getting overwhelmed by it all, you have to shift your focus outward, to the energy you’re shining out, rather than taking everyone else’s energy in.
This Full Moon opposite all those Aquarian planets also suggests noticing when you’re being seen for your light, versus just reflecting everyone else’s projections. You don’t have to take all those projections in. But neither do you have to get caught up in your ego’s need to be seen a certain way. Leo’s gift is operating from the heart. That’s the connection to the divine that offers true strength: allowing the Light to shine through you, no matter what you’re facing.
P.S. If I can support you through the current changes and uncertainty with an astrological consultation or some soul work sessions, please get in touch. And if you enjoy these horoscopes or find them helpful, you’re welcome to leave me a tip here as a form of energy exchange. Thank you for reading!
P.P.S. I invite you to read these for your rising sign in addition to your Sun sign. Please comment or message me if you’d like help finding out what your rising sign is or why it matters.
Horoscopes for February 2026
ARIES — Are you up for a complete restructuring and re-synthesis of how you show up in the world? This long-term process kicks off this month. Your values and resources may put pressure on how you express your ideals, or insist you shift your “tribe.” Remember, values and resources are a dependable compass when reorienting and re-patterning.
TAURUS — Capitalizing on the nearly Shakespearean “thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to” of your last several years will mean leaning into one more act of professional liberation this month. Yet you can only disrupt the patterns you see. Updating your inner files (rather than escaping into them) should help you navigate any tension.
GEMINI — Are you ready to open up your view of your experience? A mid-month inspiration may feel shocking if it comes from a blind spot, but it will help you shatter current limits to your understanding. As you begin dissolving and reshaping your sense of who you are in your community, think back to who you’ve been and — who you’ve strived to be.
CANCER — Has a financial relationship calcified? Necessary changes to how you offer your gifts publicly may feel like pressure, but are the valve you need to open to dismantle your pattern in the situation and find relief. The energy released will help you transmute fear into abundance. As you dissolve old goals and build new ones, review your spiritual lessons for best results.
LEO — Despite what current events suggest, you’re being invited to cross a border and consciously explore new territory, perhaps within yourself. But an unexpected calling is insisting you first clarify your intentions for at least one relationship this month. Who are you aligned with? Review your agreements and redraw them if necessary.
VIRGO — Recent breakthroughs of heightened awareness are putting pressure on you to radically restructure an everyday habit this month. Don’t stress; this will bring relief. Just follow the energy. As you dissolve a soul contract that has completed, a review of partnerships (or a friend’s own processing) may prove insightful.
LIBRA — As an established way of identifying yourself in your relationships dissolves and a new role takes shape, seek to clarify expectations and agreements. Reassessing emotions related to work will inform you. But the key opportunity for metamorphosis comes through a creative pivot mid-month that opens space for a new adventure.
SCORPIO — You’re being prompted to update your files regarding an old family story around security, and an unexpected encounter may offer the push you need. Notice how this informs you as you revisit old feelings about creativity late in the month. Clock any insights that support the identity shift that’s initiating in your work and service.
SAGITTARIUS — Your understanding of who you are as a lover, parent, or risk-taker is set to evaporate and condense in a new form. Come midmonth, a chance to better align your thinking or surroundings in response to a work or health insight should serve that longer process. Remember that “feeling safe” has roots in the past, but its reality is within.
CAPRICORN — You have an opportunity coming to better align some seemingly set matter of resources, principles, or another valuable, by responding to a creative (if disruptive) impulse nudging you. As new responsibilities begin to redefine who you are at home and old illusions around security dissipate, see if inspiration can replace idealization.
AQUARIUS — Even if you feel like the goo inside a caterpillar’s chrysalis, I see a moment of “butterfly emergence” coming up for you midmonth. Yet this promise of restructured identity requires you to integrate a surprising change to your sense of safety. Keep looking where you want to be. You’re entering a phase of dissolving and reconstituting how you think about almost everything.
PISCES — Desires you aren’t fully admitting to yourself are calling most of the shots currently. Yet by midmonth, a wild impulse to change your mind or the furniture could open the way to address an unnamed tension. Notice what releases and rearranges as a result. You’re clearing space to support a phase of fundamental shifts to what’s most important to you.
